3. How we use information

4. Legal reasons for using information
We use information where it is needed to provide services or take steps before providing services, where the law requires it, where we have a legitimate business reason, where we need to protect customers, staff or our business, or where you have given consent for optional features such as certain notifications.
5. Vehicle information
When you enter a registration number or book a vehicle service, we may use vehicle information services connected to DVLA and DVSA data to help identify the vehicle, MOT status, MOT history, tax information and related vehicle details. This helps us provide accurate reminders, bookings and garage services.

Online payments are processed by Stripe. We receive payment references, payment status and limited transaction details so we can update bookings and invoices. We do not store full card numbers on this website.

We may use SendPulse, sent.dm, SMS Gate, browser push notification services and Base44 services to send or manage these communications.
You can ask us to stop non-essential marketing messages. We may still send important service, booking, payment, safety or legal messages where needed.

10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information, including controlled access, hosted application security, payment processor security and operational safeguards. No online system is completely risk-free, so please protect your account access and tell us if you suspect unauthorised use.
11. Your rights
Depending on the law that applies, you may be able to ask for access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent.
